In Italy, hibiscus tea is known as carcadè or Italian tea and was first introduced from Eritrea, it was used as a substitute for tea when the country was hit by trade sanctions for it's invasion of Abyssinia. There are also many variations of drinking preferences around the world. In the USA hibiscus tea was made popular by a creation circa 1972 known as 'Red Zinger'. (Not) Just Peachy…
Peach Garden, not a tea but a fruit infusion with (clue is in the title) a soft peach flavour. Close your eyes and drift away with this tropical tasting gold star recommendation from theuklooseleafteacompany. Blended peach flavouring along with; hibiscus, apple, rosehip peel, apricot, marigold petals, rooibos, almond, rose petal, and last but not least, a gentle hint of cinnamon – phew; a lot goes into this wonderfully refreshing imbibe. A fruit infusion is a good way to relax after a strenuous workout (or just sat at your desk swiveling on you chair wondering whether to pop the kettle on) a Peach Garden can be drunk hot or cold (ice cold is delicious) whilst making the most of this Indian(ish) summer, fruity tea always seems more appropriate in the summertime, however, cheer yourself up at anytime with the fruit infusion feel good taste. theuklooseleafteacompany however, does not endorse the following: Swiveling on your chair (the boss may think you do not have enough work to do! Oh and of course not forgetting Health & Safety) or, drifting away (this also could result in a higher expectation of daily output and again Health & Safety rules apply) if we can be of any further use in the workplace imbibe and handy tip department here at theuklooseleafteacompany, please do not hesitate to peruse our website (where the best flavours and customer service is paramount) for the tastiest of tea's and bite size recommendations.

Lets get fruitea!
Well here we are in theuklooseleafteacompany top ten tea of the moment, well it's a fruit infusion to be precise; made from Elderberry, Hibiscus, Sultana, Blackcurrant and Blueberries, it's refreshing hot or cold and totally delicious. Brewed for 5- 8 minutes, the aroma itself has your taste buds tingling with anticipation, well that maybe a slight exaggeration, but only slight; the infusion itself is a taste explosion (again a slight exaggeration for effect) every element of the listed ingredients permeate through in the flavour (the colour is pretty too) which is a pleasant surprise, as I have yet to experience the bouquet and flavours attached to the descriptions of other well known beverages! We here at theuklooseleafteacompany have found it to be a particularly good morning wake up – and it's caffeine free. My friend stated “You would say all your teas are lush” (and yes, she did say lush) it's your business” seriously, she soon changed her mind after a tasting session. She now drinks this tea/infusion, and yes, we make her pay for it! (although a discount is applied). After all there's no such thing as a free lunch – especially when tea tasting........Lets get fruitea! with "Red Fruit Pudding"...
