China Mao Feng Organic Decaffeinated Green Tea

A wonderfully full-bodied green tea, gently decaffeinated for those who want all the flavour without the caffeine.

This organic Mao Feng comes from Shaoxing, in China's Zhejiang province, grown at 200–400m and harvested between May and August. The leaves are yellowish-green, medium-sized and slightly irregular in shape, with stems still attached, a hallmark of traditional Mao Feng processing.

To remove the caffeine, the tea undergoes a gentle CO₂ extraction process. Unlike harsher chemical decaffeination methods, this technique preserves the tea's natural character almost entirely, leaving behind a pleasant, nutty, long-lasting cup with subtle fruity notes drawn from its origin. In the cup, expect a clear, yellowish infusion with a faint orange tint.

The result is a decaffeinated green tea that doesn't feel like a compromise – full-bodied, nutty and satisfying, ideal for enjoying any time of day without worrying about caffeine intake.
