Marshmallow Leaf Organic ~ Althea officinalis

Marshmallow Leaf Organic. Marshmallow is sometimes used to form a protective layer on the skin and lining of the digestive tract. It also contains anti-inflammatory properties that might decrease coughs and fight infections.

    Precautions

    Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.

    As this product has some potent natural properties, we recommend using marshmallow leaves with care and moderation.

    If you notice any negative side effects after drinking this tea, consider scaling back your intake or avoiding it.

    Pour 1 cup (200ml) of boiling water over 1-3 tsp of Marshmallow Leaf Organic and let it steep covered for about 10-15 minutes, then strain and serve.

    You can add honey and lemon juice to taste.
