China White Snow Dragon

Snow Dragon is harvested in spring at Dongzhai  #tea garden. Only handpicked leaves are used for this first class picking. The tea plants grow at an altitude of around 1500m in the Wuliang mountains part of the Chinese province of Yunnan. Through careful and highly crafted processing the tea appears with a wonderful large, silvery and white fluffy leaf. This tea has a fresh taste. White tea contains the same kind of antioxidants as green tea but in larger quantities. The antioxidants within the tea are reported to have many health promoted benefits, such as; the lowering of Cholesterol, boosting cardiovascular health, enhancing weight loss and reducing the risk of Cancer. White tea (as with other teas) is derived from the Camellia Sinensis plant and contains Polyphenol, a phytonutrient that is thought to be responsible for these tea’s health benefits. Phytonutrients are in the natural makeup and produced by plants. Foods with Phytonutrients are also reported to contain anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits. Found in foods such as: berries, dark green vegetables, fruit and whole grain products and some spices, all of which are quite palatable on their own; some however, maybe a little less regarded, such as garlic and onions which are also phytonutrients. All in all, another refreshing tipple from the uklooseleafteacompany.
